I’ve been lax when it comes to updating this, but I’ll try to be less so in the future. I haven’t really had much fun to report since I last posted and I’ve been too busy to discover new things to post, discovering most things a day or two after Boing Boing posts them.

One of the things I purchased with Christmas money was the iPod Adapter Cable for my car’s stereo. I installed it last night and I’m very happy so far. I can switch playlists, choose songs, display track information etc. all from my car stereo while the iPod sits out of sight. The iPod interface is great for a handheld device – it’s just not all that well suited to in car use (at least by the driver). Another factor that comes into play here is that my car is quite small and doesn’ have a whole lot of cabin space to spare – a fact that didn’t stop me from getting an 8.5′ Christmas Tree in it a few weeks ago.
