The state of my Mac
Monday, June 11th, 2007Apparently, I managed to kill the analog portion of my DVI connector, so changing the settings had absolutely no effect. I am borrowing a DVI capable LCD for now, but will be purchasing one for myself shortly – one of those 19″ widescreen models looks like it might fit the bill quite well.
In other news, I downloaded the new Safari 3.0 Beta, which I’m using to write this post. The text field resizing is kinda cool. I haven’t really gotten much of a chance to play with it beyond that, so I’ll defer judgment until later on. I’ll download the Windows version tomorrow at work and see how well that works.
My other browser (actually, my default browser), Camino, got an update recently too. I can’t say that I’ve noticed a huge difference, but I never really had any complaints, so that’s OK.
Now it’s time to finally resurrect a Windows machine for some friends, so I’ll get on with that instead of rambling.
