More geekery
I know it’s been a while, but my screwy work schedule and relatively heavy work load has been taking its toll. Since I last mentioned it, we added Northwest Airlines to EASE. That brings the total to 8 airlines on the system – half of the total airlines serving SMF. Of the 8 remaining, two have been confirmed and five more are technically viable candidates. There are developments afoot, which will shake things up a little and make life better for everyone involved.
Now, on to the geekery. Since last I wrote, I turned 31. My spawn/clone, Patrick, turned 6. As a joint gift, we received a Wii. This was an awesome gift, which I had mentioned in the past, but didn’t want to get my hopes up. Someone was paying attention
. It has joined my home network, under the name Tungsten. The Wii is a whole load of fun. I was almost tempted at one point to pick up a Gamecube, but since the Wii plays Gamecube games, there’s no need to anymore.
The Steve has also been tempting me quite a bit of late and today was no different. The new line of iPods is impressive, but the $200 price drop in the iPhone is even nicer. Yes, I want – I want very much. I still probably can’t justify the expenditure though. It’s getting harder and harder to wait for the next iteration all the same.
